Sowing Native Seeds in Winter – Saturday, January 10th, 2026 3:30-5PM

Want to try gardening with the new year? Learn how to start your own low-maintenance greenhouse at this class for beginner plant enthusiasts. You’ll leave with everything you need to sit back and watch your seedlings sprout in the Spring.

Home School Days – Saving Wetlands – Thursday, February 5th, 10am-12pm $10

Explore how the Limberlost Swamp came to be and learn about the plant and animal life that make wetlands special! Ages 6-12, preregistration required.

Animals Alive – Saturday February 21st, 10am-11 am, $4/Child

Ready to meet some cold-blooded animals? Join us to learn about the incredible abilities of native snakes, turtles, frogs and toads!

Homeschool – One Woman’s History – Thursday, March 5th, 10am-12pm $10

Unlock your inner historian! Dive into the past and discover the story of Gene Stratton-Porter over 100 years later. Ages 6-12, registration required.

12-and-Under Tour – Saturday, March 21, 10-11:30am $8

Bring the little ones for an abridged tour of Gene Stratton-Porter’s famous cabin, followed by a craft!

Paint and Sip – Spring Wildflowers – Friday, April 17th 5:30-8:30pm $30

Learn watercolor techniques from an area artist as you create your own wildflower greeting cards. 21+ only. Registration required
